5th Grade Transpiration Lab



After two days of observations students discovered that a plant will loose water through their leaves. This process is called transpiration.

5th Graders discuss different Biomes


5th graders look at and analyze a tumble weed from a Desert Biome. They were extremely fascinated when they discovered that they range in size from a tennis ball to a Volks Wagon Beetle.

6th Grade's Journey Through the Solar System




The 6th grade Science class enjoyed a exciting journey through the Solar System last week. While visiting each planet the students shared facts about each planet with the rest of their classmates. This also allowed each student to get some exercise in for the day. Our scale model started at the sun and ended a mile and a half away at the Dwarf Planet Pluto.

6th Grade students study facts about the Solar System.



6th Graders love to create foldables to help organize information on many topics in Science. During this lab students organized facts about the Solar System.

5th Grade Manipulates THE SMART BOARD!!!



5th grade students work together during labs this week to learn the many parts of the plant and animal cells. Their favorite activity was labeling the cells on the SMART BOARD.

5th Microsope Lab: Comparing Plant and Animal Cells

6th Grade Rocket Launch was a blast. Students enjoyed a successful day experimenting how high their rockets could go.
